Susan is a dedicated coach with 15 years of experience, committed to helping individuals gain clarity, self-awareness, and empowerment. As a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Susan enjoys working with a wide range of clients across various life challenges. She specializes in guiding individuals to identify and clarify the issues they face, while helping them find the approaches that best resolve them.

Susan’s coaching style is centered on listening closely to her clients and raising thought-provoking questions that spark insights and personal growth. She believes in creating a space for exploration, which allows her clients to uncover their own strengths and solutions. Through this process, clients often experience surprising clarity, and Susan is constantly amazed by the effectiveness of coaching in revealing new perspectives and actionable steps.

In addition to her work as a coach, Susan is deeply passionate about mentor coaching. She loves helping individuals who are planning to become coaches, as well as those looking to add coaching techniques to their current work. Susan finds it incredibly rewarding to assist others in gaining understanding and comfort with coaching, recognizing that coaching skills are valuable in a wide range of fields. She enjoys the mentoring process, especially the discussions with trainees as they navigate their path to proficiency and confidence in their coaching abilities.

A lifelong learner, Susan is committed to continuously expanding her coaching abilities. She enjoys taking classes, reading, and spending time at retreats with fellow coaches. Her weekly positive intelligence group also keeps her coaching practice fresh and sharp. Susan finds great satisfaction in giving clients the time and space they need to explore, especially when they uncover new insights or paths to pursue.

Outside of coaching, Susan is an artist at heart. She believes that her creative outlook—seeing, considering, and reframing—is essential to both her art and her coaching. In her personal life, she enjoys walking, kayaking, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. Susan shares, “Life is an adventure. Live it to its fullest. Keep this in mind when the challenges seem too large; keep this perspective to help find the path through the challenges. Keep the faith.”
